| Notes: | The release of the 'Boel & Hall' album in March 2000 crystallised the collaboration between MH and multi-platinum artist Hanne Boel. After the Boel records 'Silent Violence' from 1996 and 'Need' from 1998 where MH wrote the lyrics and acted as songwriter on her 98 European hit single 'Salt Of Your Skin', the two of them decided to go the full mile this time around, and their joint efforts resulted in an album selling gold on the first day of its release. Furthermore the single 'Chance Of A Lifetime' became a top 10 hit for the duo and marked new heights for MH as a songwriter.
As part of a more alternative album campaign, Boel and Hall gave a series of “sit-ins” in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, a concept conceived by MH that would enable the artists to meet small groups of people on a more intimate basis to introduce them to the story-line of the album (in Denmnark such arrangements were held for a selected number of Politiken readers – a major Danish newspaper – and listeners of the Danish National Radio programme Pop-Shop).
The 'Boel & Hall' CD includes a CD-ROM film of approximately 10 minutes length recorded by MH during the making of the album. The record was released in Scandinavia as well as several other countries in the European Union. |
